AUSTRALIA

There's no place like home

‘There’s no place like home’ and that couldn’t be a truer statement for those of us fortunate to call Australia home. We don’t often explore our own backyard, however when you live in a country that offers such amazing natural beauty, pristine coastlines and wonderful wildlife you really should start exploring.

From the outback to the rainforest and the city to the surf Australia has it all. Unwind on the Queensland coast and soak in the sun, admire the tranquillity and history of the red centre with a visit to Uluru, experience the rugged landscapes and native wildlife in Tasmania or shop and sightsee along the majestic Sydney Harbour.

We often travel far and wide around the world and don’t get the opportunity to discover what we have on our own doorstep. If you haven’t got a lot of time to take a holiday, but still want to get away and experience something new, then a holiday in Australia is a great option.

Of course we can’t forget South Australia (home to Peregrine Travel Centre SA). There’s a reason why South Australia has been named in Lonely Planet’s top 5 regions in the world. World class wineries, amazing local beaches, great restaurants and bars and much much more.

Although most of the travel arrangements we help our clients with is for International travel, we are more than happy to help with any travel plans you may have within Australia as well. We can help arrange flights, accommodation and suggest any great tours or day trips that may interest you.

Our Travel Tips

If you’re travelling to Australia in summer (December-February) make sure you wear sunscreen and protect yourself from the harsh sun.

Although Australia has a rather small population, it is actually quite large in size and getting around between cities will take longer than you think. Make sure you allow for travelling times.

If you’re in South Australia and visit Port Lincoln, we highly recommend the shark cage dive. Read about our experience here.

Be careful when swimming at our beaches, be sure to swim between the red and yellow flags where possible as these are monitored by lifesavers.

We love South Australia (home), if you can visit during March you’ll be treated to some world class entertainment during the Adelaide Fringe and other festivals.
