You’ll visit Newport, RI, where you can shop, stroll or choose from optional excursions like sailing on an America’s Cup boat, or touring its famous mansions. We’ll also take you to historic New Bedford, MA, once a premier whaling port, now the scalloping capital of the world.
From our ship, you’ll see rocky cliffs that seem to plunge into the surf, as well as brave lighthouses that stand ready to warn to sailors of the perils of the sea. And, of course, at every port, you will find exquisitely delicious New England seafood. Lobster, scallops, fried clams and authentic New England clam chowder—it doesn’t get any better than this!
