Itinerary

Day 1 - Day 1 SANTO DOMINGO
Capital of the Dominican Republic, located on the south coast of Hispaniola, Santo Domingo is also the oldest town in the Caribbean and the New World. Officially founded at the end of the 15th Century by the older brother of Christopher Columbus, and named after Saint Dominic, founder of the Dominican order, the city boasts an immense historical heritage. At the heart of the colonial district, a UNESCO World Heritage site, you can admire the oldest Spanish constructions in the Americas.
Day 2 - Days 2 - 4 LA ROMANA
The seaside resort of La Romana is ideally located in the south east of the Dominican Republic. In Casa de Campo, luxury villas and golf courses overlook the turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea. Above the River Chavon, a surprising reconstruction of an Italian mediaeval village and Roman amphitheatre serves as the backdrop for a great variety of cultural events. A museum of pre-Columbian archaeology, an American design school, and many artists and artisans have set up in this flowery village. Just off the coast, you’ll enjoy the white sandy beaches edged with palm trees of the idyllic islands of Catalina and Saona.
Day 3 - Day 5 GORDA SOUND, PRICKLY PEAR
Situated off the coast of Virgin Gorda, Prickly Pear is part of the British Virgin Islands archipelago. This pristine and uninhabited island is partially covered in prickly pear cacti, which is how it got its name. It obtained national park status in the late 1980s and boasts calm, crystal-clear waters lined with stunning white-sand beaches that are extremely inviting for swimming and snorkelling among sea urchins, marine turtles, and multicoloured fish. In the island’s south, the four salt ponds overrun with mangrove are an ideal habitat for multiple species of birds such as coots, black-necked stilts, gulls, and white-cheeked pintails.
Day 4 - Days 6 - 7 ROAD BAY, ANGUILLA
Anguilla is a small and idyllic island with a concentration of many treasures: fine sandy beaches, creeks, caves and prehistoric petroglyphs, former colonial houses, natural reserves and the famous golf course designed by Greg Norman. On the beach at Road Bay, south of the village of Sandy Ground, the atmosphere is rather lively, whereas the peaceful isles of Prickly Pears and Dog Island offer magnificent sites for snorkelling. The various evocations of the main island’s shape gave the archipelago its name: an “arrow head” for the Amerindians and an “eel” for Christopher Columbus.
Day 5 - Day 8 SAINT BARTHELEMY
Lovers of this island call it Saint-Barth. This French island in the Lesser Antilles was discovered by Christopher Columbus in 1493. Ever since, this tiny mountainous volcanic gem with its unspoilt nature has been enchanting visitors. You will enjoy the beauty of its large paradisiacal beaches, plus the charm and refinement of its old wooden houses and its sumptuous colonial manors. Although, as you saunter through the rues de Gustavia or Saint-Jean, you’ll come across jewellers, top fashion boutiques and fine restaurants, there is also a simplicity that money can’t buy…
Day 6 - Days 9 - 10 BASSETERRE, SAINT KITTS
On land as in water, there's plenty to do in St Kitts and Nevis, an island duo in the middle of the Caribbean Sea. British colonial architecture in Basseterre on St Kitts contrasts starkly with the surrounding tropical countryside, which offers hiking adventures and leisurely walks in the national park. However, most visitors come to the islands for the golf, beaches and watersports.
Day 7 - Day 11 FORT-DE-FRANCE
Located on the western coast of Martinique, Fort-de-France will amaze you by the splendour of its bay, a magnificent cut-out in the coastline, considered as one of the most beautiful in the world. At the harbour mouth, on its strip of land, fort Saint-Louis overlooks the capital city of Martinique. If you climb up to it, you can see some breath-taking views. Saint Louis Cathedral and the Schoelcher library bear witness to a secular history, intimately linked to the island’s story. Why not try some fresh coconut at the colourful Grand Marché. Two really pleasant places you can take a breather in, right in the heart of the city, are the garden of Balata and the Aimé Césaire park.
Day 8 - Please Note:
Itineraries are subject to change.
