Grenada – the island of spice

Gros and Petit Piton, the two famous volcanic plugs that tower over St Lucia, could have come straight out of a tropical storybook. They are a UNESCO World Heritage Site and offer a spectacular panorama as the Sea Cloud ii sails closely alongside their slopes.

Colourful Caribbean underwater world
Eye to eye with parrotfishes, ocean turtles and damselfishes – the Tobago Cays and St Lucia are considered the best diving and snorkelling haunts in the Caribbean. The crystal-clear water with tropical temperatures offers metres deep views and invites to excursions through fascinating, colourful underwater worlds full of craggy coral riffs.

French flair on the Îles des Saintes
This small archipelago, which earned its place in history as the Gibraltar of the Caribbean, has been a great source of contention over the years. It finally became French territory in 1816. Nowadays, the only remnant of these troubled times is an old fort. Life here is peaceful, as relaxed as the rest of the Caribbean, and spiced with a touch of savoirvivre.
