On Saturday 23 March, the Viking Sun docked into Outer Harbour, Adelaide as part of its 141 day world voyage! Launched in 2017, this ocean vessel is one of 6 in Viking Ocean Cruises fleet of state-of-the-art ocean ships. Each of the 6 ships are identical and can carry 930 passengers in all verandah staterooms (no inside cabins)!

With six different cabin types available, plenty of areas to relax and take in the magnificent views, a pool area with a retractable roof, a ‘winter garden’ area, a spa featuring a snow grotto, a theatre with 2 cinemas and some fabulous dining options onboard – its no wonder these ocean cruises are so popular.

While the vessel was at Outer Harbour and the passengers had a day at port, we were lucky enough to be able to go onboard and tour this incredible ship. In August 2019, the Viking Sun will depart London for the Viking 245 day Ultimate World Voyage! This voyage can be done as a whole, or passengers can choose to join for different sectors of the cruise. Contact us if you’d like to know more.
