Description
Between two seas or between two continents, PONANT invites you aboard its ships for an Ocean Voyage punctuated with several ports of call. Between Sri Lanka and the tip of South Africa, set off on a 17-day odyssey aboard Le Lapérouse. As the days go by, you can admire the waves from the upper deck, keep fit in the spa and make good use of the pool or the gym, share the daily life of the crew, discover sailing techniques and instruments, and enjoy a break from the hectic pace of life.
You will board Le Lapérouse in Colombo, capital of Sri Lanka located at the crossroads of the maritime trade between Europe and Asia, then you set sail towards the south-east of the Indian Ocean for the emblematic Seychelles. In La Digue, fall under the spell of its idyllic decor featuring palm trees, granite rocks, white sand and crystal-clear waters.
Your ship will then set sail for the northern tip of Madagascar. During an unique port of call, discover the charm of Diego Suarez, renowned as Madagascar’s most beautiful bay. Also known as Antsiranana, this port of call is famous for its Emerald Sea lagoon, its picturesque bays, its iconic Pain de Sucre island, its majestic mountains, its idyllic beaches and its vibrant culture, all of which are invitations to discovery and fascination.
Finally, reach Cape Town, your disembarkation port, dominated by the famous silhouette of Table Mountain.
