Day 1 - Day 1: PUERTO CALDERA, Costa Rica
Embarkation- 15:00 to 16:00. Sailing to Quepos. Overnight at sea.
Day 2 - Day 2: QUEPOS – PLAYA BIESANZ, Costa Rica
Morning optional excursion to MANUEL ANTONIO RESERVE, one of the highlights of the cruise. After lunchyou can take the optional Forest Canopy afternoon excursion. Afternoon sailing to nearby Playa Biesanzfor an afternoon swim. Forest Canopy tour excursion participants rejoin the ship in Playa Biesanz. Tropicalevening with dinner and party. Late evening sailing to Puerto Jimenez, Golfo Dulce. Overnight at sea.
Day 3 - Day 3: DRAKE BAY - GOLFITO, Costa Rica
OPTIONAL EXCURSION IN THE CORCOVADO NATIONAL PARK /OSAPENINSULA, a nature preserve and tropical rainforest that occupies almost athird of the Osa Peninsula. Visitors are almost guaranteed to see some of themost incredible wildlife living in the jungles of the reserve including red-eyedtree frogs, quetzals, tapirs, harpy eagles, white-lipped peccaries, monkeys,and scarlet macaws. Swimmers can have the amazing opportunity to sharethe warm waters with marlins, dolphins, and pilot whales. Early afternoonsailing to Golfito. IMMIGRATION PROCEDURES AT ANCHOR.
Day 4 - Day 4: GRANITO DE ORO - COIBA ISLAND, Panama
Midday arrival in Granito de Oro for swimming and snorkeling in a pristineenvironment. Deck BBQ and sailing to nearby Coiba Island, a UNESCO WorldHeritage Site and the largest island in Central America. Afternoon walking tour with our Ship Naturalist who will take you for a shortwalk to discover the local forest and animal life. Free time for swimming andsnorkeling on Coiba. In the afternoon, we leave Coiba. Overnight at sea toIguana Island.
Day 5 - Day 5: IGUANA ISLAND, Panama
Morning arrival at Iguana Island,a wildlife-rich territory, a bird-watchingparadise, and key sanctuary for frigate birds. Snorkel the shallow reefs at theprotected Isla Iguana Bay. Free time for swimming and snorkelling. You willsee lots of colorful tropical fish, Morey Eels, Rays and even turtles swimmingin the warm Pacific waters. On land you will spot crabs and iguanas. Thewildlife refuge of Isla Iguana was founded in 1981 and includes over 50hectare of land and water. The island is a snorkeling and diving paradise as ithas the biggest area of well-preserved coral reefs in the Gulf of Panama with17 different coral species, more than 350 tropical fishes and over 200 speciesof invertebrates.
Day 6 - Day 6: PLAYA MUERTO - DARRIEN NATIONAL PARK, Panama
Optional excursion in the Darrien National park. We are then welcomed byEmbera Indians, one of the 7 indigenous groups living in Panama. They areproud and very friendly and known for their beautiful handicrafts and wellpreserved traditions. We return to ship for lunch and sail to Panama CItyFlamenco Marina.
Day 7 - Day 7: FLAMENCO MARINA PANAMA CITY, Panama
Midnight arrival and immigration procedures. Full day optional excursion inPanama a) Gatun Lake and San Lorenzo + Canal Museum or b) Mirafloreslocks, Casco Viejo, and Canal Museum. Farewell Dinner and overnight in port.
Day 8 - Day 8: FLAMENCO MARINA PANAMA CITY, Panama
Disembarkation after breakfast at 8-9 am. Some departure include a Panama Canal crossing, passengers disembark at COLON 9pm.
