Challenge yourself on this unguided early morning ride up the mighty Mont Ventoux, the ‘Giant of Provence’ and follow in the footsteps (pedal strokes) of the Tour de France legends.

This extension is only available as part of our Cycle Provence (AMXC) or Cycle Provence & Tuscany (AMXCC) trips – it cannot be booked on it’s own.

Itinerary

Due to the altitude of Mont Ventoux the weather can change very rapidly on the mountain, especially near the summit. There may be times when it is impossible to cycle to the summit. If our company representative deems it too unsafe they will cancel the activity. In this case no refunds are available.
