Itinerary

Day 1 - DAY 1 Edinburgh (Leith)/Great Britain
Departure 07.15 pm Three vantage points offer fantastic views of this beautiful capital on the southern bank of the Firth of Forth. The historic castle is impossible to miss atop Castle Rock high above the narrow and sometimes very steep medieval streets. The Royal Mile, a mile-long parade of Victorian buildings in the old town, connects the two royal residences of Edinburgh Castle and Holyrood Palace. The imposing outline of Arthur's Seat, a mountain which would look more at home in the Highlands, looms over Holyrood Park. The New Town, a masterpiece of Georgian urban architecture with a grid-like street pattern, stretches toward the harbor from Prince's Street, at the eastern end of which you will find a small Greek temple looming atop Carlton Hill. The Old Town and New Town, both UNESCO world heritage sites, are divided by Princes Street Gardens, the green lungs of the city and venue for the loudest music and festival events.
Day 2 - DAY 2 Aberdeen/Great Britain
Arrival 08.00 am, Departure 05.00 pm Aberdeen, which lies in north east Scotland between the Don and Dee estuaries in the North Sea, is a vibrant city with its own unique splendour. Since the 17th century granite from the surrounding mountains, which takes on a wonderful silvery shimmer in certain lights, has dominated the cityscape. Aberdeen was christened the 'Silver City' thanks to its magnificent buildings and global trade in this grey stone. The 'Auld Toon' is the center of student life. The North Sea has shaped the lives of Aberdonians since time immemorial. Rustic cottages in the old Footdee harbor quarter and the Maritime Museum give an impressive account of Aberdeen's transformation from a shipbuilding and fishing town to the 'oil capital of Europe'. The sea is never far away and a mile-long promenade follows the coastline along the light sandy beach.
Day 3 - DAY 3 Day beneath full sails
Climbing the rigging, untying ropes, setting sails – today is all about sailing. Time to lean back and relax in the deck chair and watch the passionate crew hoisting the sails by hand.
Day 4 - DAY 4 Stavanger/Norway
Arrival 08.00 am, Departure 11.00 pm The port of Stavanger spans an area of mainland and several islands in a spectacular location between the skerries to the south and the fjord landscape to the west. The picturesque old town, with a cathedral dating back to around 1125 when Stavanger was founded, and the brilliant white 18th and 19th century wooden houses are overlooked by the glass and metal façades of international oil companies. Initially, Stavanger was an important fishing and seafaring center. Subsequently, it became the world's biggest producer of tinned sardines before the extraction of black gold from the North Sea made it a rich oil center and Norway's fourth largest city. Stavenger reinvented itself again as European Capital of Culture in 2008. Nearby are the 612-meter high Månafossen waterfall, the longest sandy beach in Norway known as the Sola beach and the Lysefjord with the imposing Preikestolen cliff.
Day 5 - DAY 5 Day beneath full sails
Just enjoy the perfect sailing conditions with fitness, cosmetics, massage or with a good book in a teak chair.
Day 6 - DAY 6 List/Sylt
Arrival 11.00 am North Sea breakers, mud flats, Red Cliff, vast landscape of dunes, wide sandy beaches and old mariners' houses show the romantic and natural side of Germany's most famous island. Its other side sometimes makes headlines, as Sylt has been the summer retreat for celebrities since the 1960s. They can be seen visiting the most famous fish stand in Germany, strolling through Kampen or in the elegant bars and exclusive clubs.

Day 8 - DAY 8 Day beneath full sails
Spend the day sunbathing, enjoy the fresh wind breeze, and relax into the day!
Day 9 - DAY 9 Hamburg/Germany
Arrival 07.00 am Hamburg has seen many ships in its time. Richly laden Hanseatic cogs, famous 19th century windjammers and giant vessels have dropped anchor in its port. The beautiful banks of the Elbe form prominent cordons for ships sailing in or out of the port of Hamburg. Moving towards the mouth of the Elbe, they glide by the patrician villas on the Elbchaussee, the Treppenviertel in Blankenese, the Airbus site and the picturesque banks of the Elbe with their green dykes and white beaches. You can catch charming harbor views of the little villages all along the banks of the Elbe.
