The Alaska’s Ultimate Adventure Cruise is our most adventurous itinerary. The journey offers longer kayak excursions, more demanding hikes, and extended time in remote areas for beach treks and adventures in our durable, open-air inflatable boats. Highlighting the spirit of adventure, this itinerary calls on William Henry Bay — our privately-owned, 160-acre wilderness haven in Lynn Canal north of Juneau. Each bend in the Inside Passage coastline promises a chance to witness the untamed beauty of Alaska, and potential for encounters with Alaska’s iconic wildlife.

With its shallow draft and stately pace of cruising, nothing will be missed in channels, bays and wilderness islands of Alaska's Inside Passage. Purpose built for expedition cruising this great little ship offers comfortable, practical accommodation.

Day 1 - Day 1 Sitka & Fin Island Lodge
 Welcome to beautiful Sitka — the only community in Southeast Alaska that faces the open ocean waters of the Gulf of Alaska. We encourage you to arrive early and explore the community’s rich culture, history, and biodiversity. Shortly after embarking, you’ll enjoy a feast of Alaska crab*, wild salmon cooked over an alder wood-fired grill, and prime rib at the company’s privately-owned Fin Island Lodge.*Subject to local processor availability
Day 2 - Day 2 Remote Baranof Island/Chatham Strait
 Spend the day exploring remote Inside Passage wilderness. Hike a rainforest trail featuring towering spruce and hemlock trees and lush undergrowth. Your knowledgeable guide will provide commentary on the indigenous plants and wildlife of the area. Explore Chatham Strait alongside Baranof Island’s charming shoreline dubbed “The Waterfall Coast” and savor an opportunity to kayak a protected bay in the area.
Day 3 - Day 3 Frederick Sound
 Scout for humpback whales and other marine mammals in Frederick Sound. Humpbacks are famous for behavior that lends itself to incredible viewing and photography, such as tail lobbing, lunge feeding, pectoral slapping, breaching, and picturesque dives that showcase their massive flukes. Other opportunities for in-depth exploration include the protected waters or shores of Security Bay, Skanax Bay, Pybus Bay, The Brothers islands, or another beautiful wilderness location.
Day 4 - Day 4 Wrangell
 Enjoy several options to explore the colorful history of Wrangell, including a trip to the town’s impressive museum. Visit the intriguing state historic park, Petroglyph Beach, which contains the highest concentration of petroglyphs in Southeast Alaska. Choose from a guided hike on the Rainbow Falls Trail or an exciting optional opportunity aboard a high-speed jet boat.Jetboat excursions from Wrangell are available at an additional cost and are dependent on space/permits. Options either include navigating the winding Stikine River through stunning Alaska scenery, or a traveling through a maze of glistening icebergs in LeConte Bay en route to the LeConte Glacier.
Day 5 - Day 5 Wilderness Adventure
 Your captain and expert expedition team will select the day’s remote wilderness adventure based on factors like weather and wildlife sightings in the area. Whether you’re lacing up your boots for a wilderness hike or beach trek, or grabbing a paddle to navigate remote shorelines, one thing’s for sure: you’re in for an unforgettable Alaska adventure that is tailor-made for your group.
Day 6 - Day 6 Tracy or Endicott Arm
 Journey through Tracy or Endicott Arm in the Tracy Arm-Fords Terror Wilderness, a place the famous naturalist, John Muir, referred to as, “A wild, unfinished Yosemite.” Renowned for its glaciers, pristine waterfalls, towering icebergs, abundant harbor seals, and granite cliffs that rise from sea level to 4,000 feet, this wilderness is often referred to by locals as one of the most scenic areas in the state.
Day 7 - Day 7 William Henry Bay
 This exclusive property is nestled up against the dramatic Chilkat mountain range, and features an expansive beachfront, towering old growth forest, low-lying muskeg, and beautiful William Henry Creek. The geography provides prime habitat for an array of wildlife. 160 exclusive acres of pristine wilderness will be yours to explore alongside a knowledgeable guide. You’ll savor the peace of a wilderness oasis that is far from the nearest town as you learn its unique history of hardy Alaskan homesteaders and mining.
Day 8 - Day 8 Juneau
 Disembark in Alaska’s capital city of Juneau. Transfer to your hotel or the airport is complimentary.
