Description
Explore the windswept rocky coasts of Maine and New Brunswick on this 10 day voyage of salty splendor. You can even start a day sooner with our optional “Early Arrival.”
Meet us in Boston, then make sail for Bath, ME, where 19th century brick buildings and sidewalks add appeal to what has been called one of New England’s best small city destinations. Next is Rockland, a classic Maine town that just happens to be the lobster capital of the world. Need we say more? Then we’re on to enchanting Eastport with a population under 1,400 residents. Keep an eye on the shoreline for some other residents—harbor seals and bald eagles.
Crossing into Canadian waters, you may be greeted by barking seals at Saint Andrews By The Sea, NB. See why this resort has been charming travelers since the 1880s. Our coastal journey takes us to Grand Manan, largest of the Fundy Islands, and the location of the world’s highest tides.
Back in Maine, we’ll anchor in Bar Harbor. Admire the striking beauty of Acadia National Park with an optional bus tour that stops at Cadillac Mountain, Thunder Hole, and either Sieur De Monts Spring or Jordan Pond House.
Lively Portland, ME, features the best of old and new in its culture, shops and dining experiences. And then, it’s back to Boston where our adventure began. Disembark feeling enriched by the experiences, sights and sounds you can’t wait to tell about.
