Day 1 - Day 1: Portland, ME
Welcome to Portland! Portland's waterfront combines active fishing wharves with warehouses, shops, and museums. Departing from the port, we'll take a picturesque drive through the elegant Victorian Mansion district, past the boyhood home of American poet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, and out to Casco Bay and the famous Portland Head Light. After lunch onboard, we'll take a short ride to Kennebunkport, a shipbuilding mecca since the early 1600s. This New England community has long been the summer residence of President G. W. Bush. After soaking up the maritime atmosphere of this quaint community, we'll make our way back through the architecturally significant homes of nearby Kennebunk, visiting the Franciscan Monastery and pausing by the quirky "wedding cake house."
Day 2 - Day 2: At Sea
Enjoy a day of scenic sailing as we make our way towards Halifax. Enjoy convivial conversation with your fellow passengers or join an engaging discussion with our shipboard experts, well-versed in the history, peoples, and natural wonders of the Canadian Atlantic region.
Day 3 - Day 3: Halifax, NS
The elegant M/V Victory I awaits you at the Halifax Pier. Once aboard, enjoy the welcoming hospitality and personalized attention of our friendly and professional onboard staff. Settle into your stateroom before joining your fellow guests for dinner with free flowing house wines and cocktails.
Day 4 - Day 4: At Sea

Day 5 - Day 5: Charlottetown, P.E.I.
Located on Prince Edward Island, Canada's smallest and most charming province, Charlottetown showcases a wealth of natural beauty and history. In the morning, coaches leave the port and follow the historic trail walked by delegates to the conference that led to the Confederation of Canada. We will make our way along the famous North Shore to Cavendish Bay, in Prince Edward Island National Park, to the farmstead that inspired L.M. Montgomery's Anne of Green Gables. Enjoy a tour of the house, stroll the haunted woods, Lovers' Lane, and the famous white shores of the bay. Visit the charming city center before returning to the ship for an exceptional dinner overlooking the sea.
Day 6 - Day 6: At Sea
Enjoy a day of scenic sailing as we make our way towards Tadoussac. Enjoy convivial conversation with your fellow passengers or join an engaging discussion with our shipboard experts, well-versed in the history, peoples, and natural wonders of the Canadian Atlantic region.
Day 7 - Day 7: Whale Watching / Tadoussac
Tadoussac, where the St. Lawrence River meets the outflow of the Saguenay River, is one of the most exciting whale-watching sites in the world. Between May and October, up to 13 species of cetaceans make their way upriver from the Atlantic Ocean, to become temporary residents in the salty rich waters of the St. Lawrence. These sea mammals include blue whales, the largest animals on the planet, and the impressive humpbacks, which swim up into the mouth of the Saguenay Fjord near Tadoussac to feed.
Day 8 - Day 8: Québec City, Québec
Quebec City is the only walled community in North America and is deeply engaged in preserving its history and its unique place in Canada. Coaches depart for the Plains of Abraham where the battle between invading English and French defenders took place as the English stormed the upper city and captured the town. Onward to Place Royale in the lower-town, which was bombarded in 1759 from across the river, as fire ships were dispatched towards the port. We then drive out of Quebec City to see the historical and majestic Montmorency Falls, including a cable car ride to the top where you will have magnificent views across to the Ile d'Orléans. In the afternoon, guests are encouraged to stroll on their own out the port to visit the Petit Champlain and take the funicular railway to the Chateau Frontenac and its magnificent Dufferin Terrace.
Day 9 - Day 9: Montréal, Québec
In 2017, Montreal celebrated its 375th birthday, making it one of the oldest cities in North America. Situated on the St. Lawrence River, it remains important crossroads for shipping by land and sea, with a rich history of Iroquois, colonial, and cosmopolitan settlements. Enjoy a walking tour of the Old City with a visit to the Notre Dame Basilica. Explore Montreal old and new with a drive through the downtown business district to the top of Mont Royal for a commanding view of the city and the St. Lawrence River. Afterwards, visit one of the world's largest and most important Botanical Gardens in downtown Montreal.

Day 11 - Day 11: Toronto, ON
This morning, we'll awaken at the port in Toronto, Ontario. After breakfast, you'll disembark the M/V Victory I and make your way to the airport for your flight home.
