Description

Our shortest routes give an excellent impression of this unique ‘laboratory of evolution’ in case you have little time, or are on a limited budget. However, you must understand that it would be impossible to see all the highlights in just a few days, and you will probably only visit the Galapagos Islands once in your lifetime. Each island is distinctive and well worth a visit, with different landscapes and an ever-changing spectrum of adapted species.

Itinerary

Day 1 - Day 1 Flight to San Cristóbal Airport & Cerro Colorado / Puerto Chino Beach
Arrival at San Cristobal Airport and transfer in. You will have to pay your Galapagos National Park entrance fee and your luggage will be inspected. One thing becomes clear on your visit to the Galapagos giant tortoise breeding centre on Colorado Hill: it’s hard work to save the last local giants of San Cristóbal.
Day 2 - Day 2 Punta Suarez (Española) & Gardner Bay (Española)
Española’s western tip is a true bird watcher’s and photographer’s dream. Feel as though you’re within an exciting nature documentary, and take a short hike past colourful marine iguanas.Being one of the crown jewels of the Galapagos, Española gives you the exclusive opportunity to become an eyewitness of evolution.
Day 3 - Day 3 Punta Cormorant / Devil's Crown & Baroness Lookout / Post Office Bay
Please don’t expect flightless cormorants at Cormorant Point (they live exclusively in West Galapagos). Instead, you may have the only opportunity in the East to spot Galapagos penguins from the dinghy, or a flamingo lagoon against the pockmarked backdrop of extinct tuff cones and scented palo santo bushes.Baroness Viewpoint is a fantastic place to absorb the environment of the Galapagos. Once inhabited by an indulgent baroness and her three lovers, the history of this island is intriguing.
Day 4 - Day 4 Barrington Bay (Santa Fe) & South Plaza
Santa Fé is another crown jewel of the Galapagos, where the pale Barrington land iguana and practically every other creature are unique to the Galapagos or this island alone.Popular South Plaza is not to be missed! This bizarre ‘Jurassic islet’ is the best place to see the emblematic ‘Galapagos dragons’, which crawl across it.
Day 5 - Day 5 North Seymour & Bachas (Santa Cruz)
North Seymour is another highlight of your cruise. In the archipelago’s most extensive seabird breeding colony you can walk just a short distance from frigatebirds and blue-footed boobies.Strolling along its coastline, the blinding white Bachas Beach appears full of natural life. It is one of most important breeding sites for Pacific green turtles.
Day 6 - Day 6 Mosquera & Tour ends. Transfer to Baltra Airport
Mosquera stands out for having one of the largest concentrations of Galapagos sea lions in the entire archipelago.Assisted by the naturalist guide and some crew members, the dinghy will bring you and your luggage to Baltra, where we will take the airport shuttle.
