Genovesa Island (Tower): Genovesa is an eroded flat volcanic island, with a natural harbor, which is actually the submerged caldera of this volcanic island. After breakfast you will visit Darwin Bay – then have a snorkel after that site visit. The snorkel is short but from the beach. After lunch on board you will visit El Barranco – Prince Phillips Steps. You will do another snorkel – usually before lunch or an hour or two after lunch and before the Barranco visit. This will depend on group guide and conditions. Very early visit in the dinghy through the mangroves of Turtle Cove on the north shore of Santa Cruz Island. Caleta Tortuga (Turtle Cove) - northern coast of Santa Cruz Island Activities: dinghy ride Landing: no landing Fauna and flora: Hammerhead baby sharks, rays, sea turtles, sea birds that nest in mangroves. Turtle Cove is a red mangrove lagoon on Santa Cruz and a perfect example of how mangroves alter the marine environment to create a rich and unique habitat. Floreana Island (Charles): Floreana is best known for its colorful history of buccaneers, whalers, convicts, and early colonists. You will wake up in Cormorant Bay and have the view of the island with the longest human history plus the snorkeling highlight - Devil’s Crown. Isabela Island (Albemarle): the largest of the Galapagos Islands formed by five active volcanoes fused together. Wolf Volcano is the highest point in the entire Galapagos at 1707m. Here you will awake on the southern coast of the largest island in a port called Puerto Villamil - there is a $10 fee per person for use of the dock that all guests must pay. After breakfast you will take a bus up to visit Sierra Negra. You leave at about 8h30 am and the ride take about 40 minutes long. Up near the caldera you are dropped off at the point called “El Cura” (the priest) and then hike up for another 30 - 40 minutes to the crater.

Isabela Island (Albemarle): You will wake up on the northwest coast of the Sierra Negra (you visited the day before). After breakfast you will then head ashore about 8h30 that morning for a walk along the lava field recommend walking sticks. You will have much more wildlife to view on this lava field than most. Punta Moreno Activities: land visit, snorkeling and dinghy ride Landing: drylanding one of the more challenging ones Highlights: Flamingos, pintail ducks, reef sharks, pelicans, herons Punta Moreno is located in the central southwestern coast of Isabela Island. The site has spectacular views of volcanoes Alcedo, Sierra Negra and Cerro Azul. Some highlights include impressive lava flows, desolate and pristine landscape, varied and unusual arid zone vegetation. During lunch we will move boat over to Elizabeth Bay about a two hour journey - time to take in the scenery or a siesta.

Highlights include the colourful land iguanas, Galapagos Giant tortoises and the coral uplifting from 1954.

Santiago Island (James): This Island is located between Isabela and Santa Cruz Islands. This Island offers a wide variety of seabirds, marine iguanas and fur seals. The island is home to endemic Palo Santo trees, colonies of blue-footed boobies, swallow tailed gulls, and magnificent frigate birds.
