Description

The Mekong River is the world’s 12th longest river, and Asia’s seventh longest.

Its source is in the Tibetan Plateau, which is integral to the lives of people in 6 countries: China, Myanmar, Laos, Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam. It provides a trade route between China and Southeast Asia, and supplies food, economic opportunities, and transportation options to the people who live and work along the banks. A river cruise holiday along the Mekong offers ancient jungle temples, bustling cities, colourful floating markets, and vast landscapes of rice paddies, swampland and fruit orchard.

The Mekong Princess offers this with 7 night/8 day upstream between Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam and Siem Reap in Cambodia, and is small enough to traverse the tributaries of the Mekong Delta. One of the smallest riverboats on the Mekong, with a maximum of only 28 guests in 14 luxurious suites. A truly unique and authentic Vietnam and Cambodian experience, cruising the Saigon, Mekong Rivers and smaller river tributaries of the Mekong Delta. Guests can visit untouched places and interact and engage with the people who live within the ebb and flow of the mighty Mekong, and its stunning Mekong Delta.
